Lakewood High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Located in Lakewood, N.J., the school conducts classes in English, math, science, social studies, business and technical education, and family and consumer science. It offers foreign language courses in Spanish, Latin, German and French. It operates chess, dance, drama, history, photography and spirit clubs. Lakewood High School offers student activities in ceramics, sculpting, music and physical education. The school also operates an orchestra, choir and band. It supports a variety of sports activities, such as football, soccer, basketball, field hockey, and track and field. In addition, it offers the English as a Second Language program. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that organizes fundraising activities and special events, including talent shows and musical programs. Lakewood High School is a part of the Lakewood School District, which operates more than five elementary, middle and high schools.
