Franklin Township Public Schools

Franklin Township Public Schools offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students through its various elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools. It serves children in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The district s academic curriculum includes classes in several subjects, such as math, vocabulary, language arts, science, social studies, health, physical education and world language. Franklin Township Public Schools also administers music, drama, orchestra, guitar, dance, gymnastics, band and chorus programs. It participates in a range of sports activities, including chess, field hockey, soccer, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track and field. The district organizes various parent-teacher conferences through its schools. Franklin Township Public Schools also administers the English as a Second Language (ESL) program and Bilingual Education classes. Additionally, it participates in local, regional, state, and national contests for gifted students in many areas. Competitions such as Invention Convention , debates, and fine, visual and performing arts events offer students the opportunity to meet with other gifted and talented students and showcase their talent and ability.
