The Missionary Sisters-Mary in Elmer, NJ is a religious organization dedicated to serving communities in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Italy, USA, and Zambia. With a history spanning over 100 years, the Sisters of Mary Immaculate of Nyeri have inherited the passion and compassion of the Holy Spirit, carrying out the mission of the Church with attentiveness to the signs of the times. Through their various ministries, they aim to spread and maintain faith among the people of God, particularly women, girls, and children, embracing the evangelical counsels of consecrated celibacy, asceticism, and contemplation.
