Manteca, a Modern American Eatery, was a highly anticipated restaurant that unfortunately did not find a permanent home at 339 Communipaw Avenue in Jersey City, NJ. Despite the setback, the community showed immense support and enthusiasm for the establishment, with numerous neighbors pushing to make it a reality. Manteca expressed gratitude to all the supporters who played a crucial role in their vision for a place that Bergen Lafayette could be proud of.

Although the circumstances prevented Manteca from moving forward in the planned space, the owner, Joe Dell Armi, continues to have a deep affection for the BeLa BerLa Communipaw Lafayette neighborhood. He remains committed to visiting friends and assisting in any way possible to help the area become the vibrant destination it deserves to be. Manteca Restaurant extends its sincerest gratitude to all its supporters and wishes them the best for the year ahead.
