Tresco is a nonprofit organization that was founded by parents desiring community-based services for their family members with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities in the state of New Mexico. The organization provides supports and services for more than 1,200 disabled individuals per year. Tresco offers a range of support and services, including early intervention, family support, day habilitation, supported employment, assisted living, recreational, behavior therapy and contracting for individuals with disabilities of all ages. The organization was founded in 1968 and accepts a variety of donations, such as cash, toys and computers. Tresco is affiliated with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
