New Mexico Highlands University offers graduate and undergraduate programs in arts and sciences, business, education and social work. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council on Social Work Education. The college offers undergraduate programs in communication and fine arts, behavioral sciences, humanities, nursing, forensics, natural sciences, engineering and business. It also offers graduate programs in finance, international business, management information systems, general business, clinical practice and nonprofit management. The college has a library that provides links to educational Web sites, encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference resources, books, articles and databases. New Mexico Highlands University, established in 1941, is located in Las Vegas.
