It's a mini dog park away from the main park so fur babies can play. There were friendly pups and owners there at my time of visit. Mini dog park was clean. Park is definitely not accommodating...

Washington Middle School is a part of Albuquerque Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
