Blue Mountain Reservation is a 1,538-acre park located in the northwest section of Westchester County, acquired in 1926. The park features miles of trails for mountain biking, strolling, and nature study, along with challenging hikes to the summits of Mt. Spitzenberg and Blue Mountain.
In addition to its extensive trail system, the reservation includes the Sportsman Center, which offers target ranges, and the Blue Mountain Trail Lodge, available for group rentals. The park also boasts historically significant comfort stations built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, reminiscent of early 20th-century National Park structures.
