Somehow found a better babka than Zabars. This one is lighter and I like the brioche and croissant like flaky crust a lot. I like how this bakery is open till late.

As expected... amazing! stopped by for my usual coffee and picked up bread and some croissants to my friend's dinner. It never fails - great replacement to the wine I usually bring.
