Brookside School

Brookside Elementary School, established in 1954, offers classes from grades three through five. Its curriculum includes reading, writing, mathematics, science, language, social studies, fine and performing arts and physical education. The school provides special education programs and extracurricular activities to students with disabilities. Its library houses a large collection of storybooks, nonfiction, technology and audiovisual reference material. The school has art, music and language clubs, and also organizes various quiz programs, and cultural and physical activities. In addition, it has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities. The school provides before and after school programs, one-to-one and group counseling, health care and meal services to students. Brookside Elementary School is located in Yorktown Heights, N.Y.
