Cradle Beach Camp has been serving the needs of disabled and disadvantaged children in western New York since 1888. Cradle Beach provides a healthy environment and various organized activities to serve children. The camp serves up to 900 disabled and disadvantaged children between the ages 9 to16 in its summer camping program. The children are provided with 10 days of residential program focusing on education and training in a recreational setting. The various activities offered at the camp include basketball, swimming, arts, computers, drama and dance. Its programs include asset-based programming aimed to protect youth from harmful behaviors by reducing alcohol and drug use, sexual activity, and violence. Cradle Beach Camp also offers weekend respite program supported with funds from the New York state government. Cradle Beach Camp is located in Angola, N.Y.
