A free area shuttle great views of the Manhattan skyline from a rooftop lounge and plush snuggly beds are what our guests point to when asked about the Ravel Hotel in the outer NYC borough of Queens. The luxury boutique Ravel Hotel's 63 rooms are situated on five stories and decorated in soothing earth tones with flat-panel plasma HDTVs mp3 player connections and beds with 400-thread-count sheets. Spa-style bathrooms offer separate glass-door showers and fluffy bathrobes and some rooms feature NYC skyline views from private balconies. The mini-bars are great for a quick nosh and the hotel restaurant offers indoor and outdoor tables for al fresco munching amid beautiful vistas. An on-site hotel gym means you won't miss a workout and the free shuttle can whisk you to area subway stops and restaurants. Tucked right next to the Queensboro Bridge the Ravel Hotel is only four miles from LaGuardia Airport and just a mile drive into Midtown Manhattan (and there's free on-site parking to make driving that much easier and less expensive). Silvercup Studios is about a half-mile from the Ravel and the subway station is a short walk or free shuttle ride away. You'll be on the East side of Manhattan when you cross the bridge - near Bloomingdale's and just a few avenues from the shopping of Fifth Avenue and the attractions at Central Park.
