Christopher Comstock, MD is a Board-Certified radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Zhang then pursued additional advanced training in cardiac imaging at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he specialized in multimodality imaging with a focus on cardiac computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.Dr. Zhangs research focuses on acute pulmonary embolism, right ventricular remodeling and valvular heart disease, particularly as it relates to advanced imaging techniques such as cardiac magnetic resonance and cardiac computed tomography. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and European Heart Journal family of journals. In recognition of his research contributions, he was named Cardiology Research Fellow of the Year during his fellowship.In addition to his scholarly activities, Dr. Zhang is a dedicated clinician and educator, actively involved in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. In addition to seeing patients in clinic at the Weill Greenberg Center, Dr. Zhang provides inpatient care in the coronary care unit, cardiac telemetry unit, and consultative cardiology service. He also has additional expertise in echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
