The Jewish Home of Rochester has been operational for more than 75 years. Supported by the Jewish United Fund, the organization offers a wide variety of outreach programs and community-based services. Its evaluation service center provides services, such as counseling, nursing, housekeeping, home delivered meals, cardiac care, diabetes education, ostomy and wound care, medication monitoring, and transportation. Spread on more than 20-acres of land, the organization s Weinberg-Manson Rehabilitation Center and The Summit at Brighton offer state-of-the-art life care services. The Jewish Home of Rochester also offers long- and short-term rehabilitation, Alzheimer s disease care, adult day programs, consumer assistance, care management, and assisted and independent living facilities. Additionally, the organization provides Medicare-certified and state-licensed home health services from specially trained professionals, including registered nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, and home health aides.
