The American Dairy Association and Dairy Council is a non-profit corporation that is funded and directed by dairy farmers for the purpose of increasing the sales of milk and dairy products. The corporation conducts programs on behalf of dairy producers in the media, in schools, in retail outlets and working with health professionals. It is affiliated with Dairy Management Incorporated for the purpose of implementing a unified promotion and marketing plan throughout the United States. The American Dairy Association and Dairy Council operates in northern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and New York, including a location in Syracuse, N.Y.
