Located in East Syracuse, N.Y., Woodland Elementary School serves more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including math, reading, writing, science and social studies. In addition, Woodland Elementary School conducts classes in arts, music, physical education and technology. The school offers a variety of before- and after-school child care and enrichment activities, including the student council, math Olympiad, and Young AmeriTowne and accelerated reader programs. It also provides child care services during the summer months. Woodland Elementary School offers preschool programs and options for full-day kindergarten, either tuition-based or free. The school provides tuition-based foreign language programs, drama and enrichment classes. Woodland Elementary School is owned and operated by the East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District.
