The company is also one of the largest wholesale meat and poultry distributors. Western Beef employs more than 2,000 employees and operates its business in New York, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The company's stores also offer frozen food items, dry groceries and nonfood products, such as paper goods and household utensils. It maintains various locations in Bronx, N.Y.
