I have had a serviceman come to my home for times the last one stay 2 hours and a half my dryer still did not work called a friend of mine who doesn't know very much about dryers and he fixed my dryers it is in my opinion that series tells their technicians not to fix your equipment so you can buy their service plan for $194 and they'll give you $500 off on one of their appliances that are overpriced to begin with so they can sell more appliances not a good business practice cheating your customers especially customers have been yours for a long time I was even going to allow Sears to update my bathroom for $6,000 now I have to buy a washer and dryer so I won't be over dealing with Sears again I don't like to talk bad about American companies but this is why we don't have companies in America now because of this type of poor quality service I will never personally Norway ever refer anyone to Sears again I've spent thousands of dollars in their stores I'll never do it again
I purchased a Craftsman lawn tractor in August 2013 and I have not been able to make it through one season without having breakdowns and 3-4 service repairs each year since the purchase.I have the extended warranty plan which covers most of the costs however I have to wait 4 weeks before they can send someone to repair it.The product came from the factory with the wrong blades and wrong filter installed.I have made call after call to the different departments and I am promised that someone will take care of this and give me a call back.I have never gotten that call in the last 3 years to rectify the problem.My warranty expires in August 2018 and after that I wouldend up having to pay 400 + dollars for each service trip.I also would have to pay for parts at that time.I even called the CEO and was told from the management team that Sears would re-imburse me for having to pay for someone to come and mow my lawn and I still have not received the first check for that either.I was also told that due to all of these issues if I had to have another service call that they would replace the LEMON product. I am very dissatisfied and I am still stuck with the aggravation and and the cheaply made product. I would not reccommend buying their lawn tractors as the service reps tell me that Cratsman is now using cheap parts and manufacturing sub standard equipment.I have a 3 acre lawn and this was the product reccomended fro me to purchase,however I now find out that the accessories we told them we wanted are not available for this tractor and would have to purchase a larger one.I would have been happy to have paid more when we purchased this one in order to get the equipment we needed.I was told by the sales representative at Sears Concord Mall(Concord NC) that this had the gold engine and was heavy duty enough to cover all my needs,,That was not TRUE! Very bad experience all the way around!
