ECB Bancorp is a bank holding company, headquartered in Engelhard, N.C., whose wholly owned subsidiary, The East Carolina Bank is a state chartered, independent, community bank founded in 1919. The bank's primary business is the marketing of financial services to consumers, small businesses and agricultural customers. ECB's financial services include banking, delivered in person, by telephone, electronically through ATMs or on the World Wide Web.
