Western Guilford High School is a secondary school serving students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,400 students and its sports teams are the Fighting Hornets. It is a part of the Guilford County School District and is a member of the Triad 3A Conference. The school operates on a traditional schedule, which uses six classes per day. Its curriculum comprises subjects, including English, career and technical education, foreign language, science, social studies, math, physical education and computer technology. It has athletic teams in several sports, such as lacrosse, softball, tennis, football and soccer.
