Elberta Crate is a family owned and managed manufacturer of wooden wirebound crates. It operates in three North American manufacturing locations that include Bainbridge, Ga.; Avon Park, Fla.; and Warrenton, N. C. It ranks as the one of the largest wirebound box manufacturers in the world. Today s ownership and management team includes fourth generation descendents of the company s founder. All of Elberta s crates are ultra durable and reusable. Its products include: corn crates, made for packing whole ears; one bushel bean crates; herb crates; asparagus crates; fish boxes, used mostly for seafood; vegetable crates; and poultry crates that are great for game farms that move its live pheasants and quail.
