Founded in 1966, FPG Child Development Institute is one of the largest multidisciplinary organizations for young children and families in the United States. The institute has a staff of investigators, scientists, and students from more than 15 academic disciplines, including anthropology, audiology, biostatistics, education, epidemiology, nursing, psychiatry, psychology, public health, social work, sociology, pediatrics, physical and occupational therapies, and speech and hearing sciences. Its staff works on projects that deal with parent and family support, early care and education, and child health and development. FPG Child Development Institute offers a range of periodicals, journal articles, videos, magazines, booklets, resource guides and podcasts that includes a range of topics for parents and policy makers.
