Established in 1996, Northridge Middle School offers a range of academic opportunities for the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 850 students. Northridge Middle School conducts classes in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally provides several food options for lunch. Northridge Middle has a parent-teacher-student association School. The school has a media center that maintains a collection of over 15,000 items, including books, periodicals and reference materials. Its media center also features nearly 25 computers. Northridge Middle School operates an accelerated reader program and is a part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools.
