A native of Lenoir, NC, owner Ann Miller opened Foothills Framing in Lenoir in 1980, after spending several years learning the skills and techniques of custom picture framing while working at a large gallery and custom picture framing shop in Raleigh, NC. She has continued to develop her skills and increase her education of custom picture framing through attendance at trade shows, taking numerous classes taught by experts on various aspects of framing, has earned the CPF (Certified Picture Framer) credential offered by the Professional Picture Framers Association, and continues to renew that certification every four years through required course work. Foothills Framing continually strives to offer great customer service and to produce quality custom picture framing which the customer will enjoy for many years to come.SpecialtiesFoothills Framing offers quality custom picture framing to the Lenoir/Caldwell County area and beyond. From fine art and photography to needlework and family heirlooms, our staff helps customers select the proper materials to enhance and preserve their special pieces. With hundreds of mouldings and matboards from which to choose, finding the right combination for your piece is a creative challenge. Through extensive education and credit renewal, owner Ann MIller has earned the CPF (Certified Picture Framing) credential from the Professional Picture Framers Association, and can assure that your piece is properly cared for during the framing process. Other services offered at Foothills Framing include dry mounting, shrink packaging, computerized specialty matting, stretching needlework and canvas, shadowbox or object framing, oval and circle mats and frames, mirrors, ready-made frames, flag cases and more. Foothills Framing also carries a wide inventory of prints and posters.
