The Tavern is a privately owned & operated restaurant in the downtown, waterfront area located just a few feet from the waterfront docks. We offer a unique, one of a kind place to relax and have a good meal alone or with friends. Custom built by the owner from local wood, The Tavern offers a warmth that is not often experienced in a dining experience. We strive to make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous inside with remarkable woodwork. We got the smash burger and tuna. Both were perfect and the service tonight was great.

Absolutely the best steak in Belhaven. Service can be terrible. I want to love them but it's really hard.
