Bismarck State College, founded in 1939 and a part of the North Dakota University System, is a two-year public college. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students. The courses and programs offered by the university include accounting, aerospace studies, agricultural engineering, business administration, chemistry, physics, foreign languages, history, engineering, medical technology, communications, economics, English, public administration and nursing.
