Boulder City, NV
Boulder City is a city in Clark County, Nevada, United States. It is approximately 20 mi (32 km) from the City of Las Vegas. As of the 2000 census the population was 14,966, with a 2010 census population of 15,023.
Boulder City is one of only two cities in Nevada that prohibit gambling.
Boulder City was originally built in 1931 by the Bureau of Reclamation and Six Companies, Inc. as housing for workers who were building Hoover Dam.
