Rocky River is a western suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, United States located in Cuyahoga County. The city is named for the river that forms its eastern border. The population was 20,213 at the time of the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.6 square miles (14.6 km²), of which, 4.8 square miles (12.3 km²) of it is land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²) of it (15.45%) is water.
