Shreve is a village in Wayne County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,582 at the 2000 census. Shreve is served by a branch of the Wayne County Public Library.
Shreve is located at 40°41′1″N 82°1′20″W / 40.68361°N 82.02222°W / 40.68361; -82.02222 (40.683603, -82.022284).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.2 km²), all of it land. It is, however, drained by Shreve Creek, a tributary to the Killbuck Creek. The Killbuck Marsh, locally known as Shreve Swamp, is located outside of the Village limits and part of the Killbuck Creek watershed.
