Founded in 1975, the Bainbridge Township Police Department offers a range of police, fire and rescue services within Bainbridge Township of Ohio. It answers more than 8,000 calls for crimes and makes over 300 arrests. The department operates with eight marked squad cars and several unmarked vehicles used for surveillance and investigations. Its facilities include a communications center, evidence-processing rooms, holding cells, a five-bay shooting range and a physical fitness center. The Bainbridge Township Police Department offers a variety of community-related programs, such as drug abuse resistance education, block watch and neighborhood watch programs. In addition, it offers a safety town program for elementary school children to teach the importance of general safety to youngsters. The department is located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
