Ohio s State Employment Relations Board is responsible for administering the Ohio Public Employees Collective Bargaining Act. The board assists public sector employers, employees and their representatives to resolve and prevent workplace disputes. The State Employment Relations Board provides mediation, election and unfair labor practice investigation services. It is also responsible for resolving disputes and collecting and monitoring registration and financial filings by employee organizations. In addition, the board provides training to labor and management representatives in matters related to collective bargaining.
