The Clark County Sheriff's Office has uniform patrol, criminal investigations, jail and staff services divisions. It also has communications, records and court services units. The office provides law enforcement and crime prevention services to Clark County, Ohio. The Clark County Sheriff's Office includes more than 120 sworn officers and over 30 civilians. Located in Springfield, Ohio, the office is nationally approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. It provides Drug Abuse Resistance Education in more than 14 elementary schools and over six high schools. The Clark County Sheriff's Office also provides safety educational programs, including lessons on stranger-danger, fire, street and safety signs, railroad crossings, and home and personal safety for children entering kindergarten.
