CTS Sandusky

CTS Sandusky is a subcontractor of Sandusky Dock Corporation. It supplies management, supervision, operators and laborers who operate, maintain and assist in repairs in order to load vessels, handle ground storage and reclaim and provide truck loading operations. The company s facility accommodates a maximum vessel length of 1,000 feet and overall loading capacity of 50,00 net tons. Storage capacity of 875,000 tons is available with three silos with capacity of 3,500 tons each. The silos allow for pre-loading up to 10,500 tons to prep for vessels. With reclaimed coal and railcars simultaneously loaded to a vessel, this allows for an average of 4,000 tons per hour. The facility has an annual through-put capacity of 7 million tons. The facility also offers volume ground storage with reclamation into a vessel concurrently with dumping of additional cars to achieve a maximum load rate of an average of 4,000 tons per hour. Coal can also be reloaded from ground storage to trucks for outbound movement. CTS Sandusky is located in Sandusky, Ohio.
