This is the Place To Learn About a Legend.™ The Johnny Appleseed Educational Center and Museum holds the world's largest collection of memorabilia and written information about the life of John “Appleseed” Chapman. Here’s Some of What You Will Discover at the Museum. • Dock Family Bible – See the bible which was purported to be carried by Johnny Appleseed himself., • Memorial Orchard – With apple trees directly descended from those planted by Johnny Appleseed. • Children’s Garden – A delightful garden and picnic area, play, stroll, and take beautiful family photos. • Francis Bailey’s Tombstone – Bailey was the first American publisher of the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg and the printer of the Continental Congress. • Interactive Audio and Visual Displays –Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with visual and audio media to assist in the understanding of who Johnny Appleseed was and his life and times.
