Founded in 1901, East Toledo Family Center is a community organization that serves the Lucas County in Ohio. It has various departments, including the Passport and C.H.O.R.E. program, senior activities center, youth services, family resources, preschool programs and the Kids Kare Program department. Its Passport program is a state funded program operated by the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio. The program is designed to assist senior citizens with personal hygiene, housekeeping and homemaking, medical transportation, emergency response systems, adult day care services, counseling and social work. Its athletic department offers various activities, such as T-ball, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, soccer, cross country, flag football, wrestling, cheerleading and karate. The family center is located in Toledo, Ohio.
