Benjamin Logan Middle School, based in Bellefontaine, Ohio, serves more than 600 students in grades five through eight. The students participate in various activities including bands, choirs, student councils, service clubs and compete in science fairs, spelling bee competition, Adrian club essay contests, flag and country speaking contests. The interscholastic athletic competition includes girls cross-country, volleyball, basketball and track events. The technology applications class focuses on students computer skills enabling them to use computer effectively in their schoolwork, homework and everyday life. Students improve their keyboard skills and learn how to use specific programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet. The computer lab is equipped with computers, scanners, laser printers, digital cameras and digital video cameras. Its students also apply editing and publishing skills in creating class projects and multimedia presentations.
