History

In the fall of 2006 I picked up a SLR camera for the first time. It was my dad's Leica R-4, a classic 35mm film camera. I was 16 year-old high school student taking in a beginner's photography course. That course ignited my passion for photography and in 2010, shortly after I graduated from college, I opened Ann Bennett Photography. For the first 5 years that I was in business, I specialized in outdoor natural light photography, specifically high school senior pictures. In late 2015, I had the opportunity to open a studio so I trained under Trisha Jimenez of TG Photography, a nationally known award winning newborn photographer. In early 2016 I opened the doors to my studio and began shooting newborn, maternity and baby photos. The studio is conveniently located just northwest of downtown Tulsa on a private 300 acre family farm.
