Texoma Animal Clinic, Inc was established in 1973. We are a "mixed" animal practice. We provide many aspects of surgical and internal medicine for both small and large animals. Diagnostics include laboratory tests, radiology (x-rays ), blood chemistry profiles and many other case specific analytical procedures. Dentistry is also available. We are also a boarding facility for companion animals with seasonally heated and air-condition wards. We are located on Highway 70, approximately 1-1/2 miles south of Madill, Oklahoma. Our hours of clinic operation are 8: 30AM to 5: 30PM Monday through Friday and 8: 30AM to Noon on Saturdays. We are open during the "lunch hour" for the convenience of our clients and patients. Early drop offs are available by arrangement. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our close client and patient relationships. We strive to offer nothing but the best quality of service. Knowing that client education and preventative medicine significantly contribute to the foundation for an open and professional relationship we offer a comprehensive line of vaccinations for companion animals and livestock. We also offer numerous types of health maintenance products such as heartworm preventatives, flea and tick control products, skin and hair coat treatments, anthelmintics (dewormers ) and supplements. For companion animals nutrition, we offer top-of-the-line Hill s Science Diets and, for dietary management of various diseases and metabolic problems, Hill s Prescription Diets. All of Hill s diets have unsurpassed nutrient precision and digestibility. Combs received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 1977. He had previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Agriculture, also from Oklahoma State, having majored in Pre-Veterinary Science and Animal Science/Business. After a brief stay in southwestern Oklahoma he made his home and built his career and practice in Madill, Oklahoma. His practice, Texoma Animal Clinic, Inc has been in existence since 1973. Dr. Combs wife, Debi, is Dean of Applied Science and Technology at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They have two children, a 12-year-old daughter, Maxie and a 3-year-old son, Matthew. Kathy R. Robertson, C.V.T. graduated from Murray State College in 1998 receiving her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Kathy, along with her husband, Greg, and two children, Lonnie, 14-years-old and Alisa, 11-years-old make their home southwest of Madill. Kathy s 18-year-old son, Jason, resides in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Kathy has been on staff at Texoma Animal Clinic since 1995. Joni L. Phelps, V.T., graduated from Murray State College in 1997 with her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She then received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1999. She and her husband, Michael, make their home near Ringling, Oklahoma and are currently expecting their first child in December. Joni has been employed at Texoma Animal Clinic, Inc since 1997. Julie Gottschalk graduated from Kingston High School in May of 2000. She is currently attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Julie lives in Kingston, Oklahoma with her family. She has been working at Texoma Animal Clinic, Inc since Aug. 1999. Jennifer A. Nabors is the newest addition to the Texoma Animal Clinic staff. She attended Murray State College in 1996 and 1997 studying Veterinary Technology. She then joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard where she currently holds the rank of E4. She and her husband, Chri
