Gary Bob Fraley, MD

My foundations in medicine were laid from an early age with many supportive role models in the healthcare field in my family. My interests in leadership, education and compassionate service to others drew me to medicine to be a physician. I felt a calling in my life by God to be a healer and serve others while glorifying Him. I believe in partnership with my patients and working as a team in promotion of health and wellness. It is a privilege to be able to share in my patients' lives and to be able to care for their families.

Specializing in family medicine has been incredibly rewarding because of the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with my patients. My focus is on the full-scope of family medicine, including the care of infants, children, and adults with an emphasis on wellness and prevention. I strive to provide a friendly, open, and relaxed atmosphere for my patients that will convey the respect that I have for their health care as well as their physical and emotional needs. My goal is to provide exceptional medical care, delivered in a straight-forward manner. I look forward to fostering long-lasting relationships with my patients and advocating for them within the health care community. I recognize that God has directed my path, and I am thankful he has placed me in a faith-based organization as a platform to help care for his creation.

I'm convinced there is no better job than mine. I get to do something I love, and I get paid for it! God is good! Working with parents of babies or young children is more fun than I deserve. Seeing kids grow up and overcome problems, while watching parents get more adept at handling their little bundles of joy ... these are the true rewards of my calling. Helping a mom enjoy her baby, helping her realize that to love doesn't always mean to give in and helping parents understand that the baby came to live with the parents and not vice versa ... these are all a part of what I do. These tasks define the day-to-day life of parents, and I pray that I can be a coach and/or cheerleader in these times. I'm sometimes called mean, sometimes mistakenly perceived as sensitive and sometimes I bend or break a few rules of pediatrics, but my goal is to never be said not to care.
