Oklahoma is a state prone to severe weather, with regions including the Great Plains, Cross Timbers and U.S Interior Highlands. The Oklahoma economy depends on natural gas, oil, agricultural products, aviation, energy, telecommunications and biotechnology. Many of the cities in this state have old world charm, built on the wealth from the oil industry of the 1900's.
