Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium is a stadium located in Tulsa, Oklahoma on the campus of University of Tulsa. Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes. The stadium opened as Skelly Field on October 4, 1930 with the construction taking just over six months at a cost of just over $275,000, $3.8 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 1995, which added over 12,000 seats.
The Tula Golden Hurricanes are members of the C-USA Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of blue, red and gold. Their mascot is Captain Cane. Past players include Chris Chamberlain, Damaris Johnson and G.J. Kinne.
The stadium currently holds 30,000 fans. Currently, it is the 89th largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 30,000 has been recorded multiple times over the years. In terms of parking there is on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.
