Gearhart is a city in Clatsop County, Oregon, United States. The population was 995 at the 2000 census. The 2007 estimate is 1,185 residents.

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.50% of the population. 16.0% were of German, 15.7% English, 10.2% Irish, 7.4% American, 5.7% Norwegian and 5.2% Swedish ancestry according to Census 2000.
