Steve has 20 years of industry experience establishing long-term, trusted relationships with clients for major underwriting companies and brokerage firms. By creating MedRisk, LLC in 2002, Steve took his broad experience in the national insurance marketplace and focused it entirely on the healthcare industry. A southern Oregon native, Steve graduated from Brigham Young University in 1988 and now lives with his wife and six children in Oregon City. Based in Seattle, Washington, Robin Brown manages client servicing and new client development for managed care organizations needing HMO reinsurance, provider excess and employer stop loss. Robin Brown has over 20 years of managed care and insurance experience. Before joining MedRisk in 2004, Robin was a manager at an insurance carrier where she was in charge of marketing and managing the provider excess and employer stop-loss products as well as overseeing claims processing. Prior to that, Robin worked for a managed care and cost-containment company in California. As Quality Assurance Manager, she was responsible for troubleshooting and addressing bill review errors and inconsistencies, interpreting hospital contracts, auditing hospital billings, and identifying profitable claim system enhancements.
