Located in a couple of blocks of green space in SW Portland, this imposing statue is nice to look at. I always like to look at statues and wonder at what moment in time this look was captured....

The first time I saw this bronze sculpture by George Waters created in 1926 I was moved. There were lots of little kids playing around it and I swear I saw Mr. Lincoln smile.
