Clausen Oysters is the largest oyster farm in the State of Oregon, growing Pacific Oysters and Kumamoto oysters on 600 leased acres in Coos Bay. They harvest oysters year-round and ship them to seafood distributors for the wholesale market, as well as selling them locally in their on-site store.
With a focus on oyster safety and quality, Clausen Oysters takes oyster larvae and attaches them to oyster shells, allowing them to grow and form clusters on stakes in the tide lands over a period of three years.
