El Pilon Colombian Food

The Colombiana Empanadas were tasty af. If you've never had one, this is a great place to try for the first time. Staff was very friendly too.

Delicious empanada perfect dessert after eating your meal. Our favorite was the Cheesy Guava. Yumm! Nice service and good vibe inside the Midtown Beer Garden food carts. Outdoor seating available.

Walking up to El Pilón Food Cart, I have to admit it looks really nice. All colorful, inviting, and giving off those "I'm about to eat something amazing" vibes. But then... the empanadas arrived....

gotta love 100% GF places (minus one drink, which they mark on the menu). the empanadas and yucca fries are so yummy they do seem to run out of items pretty quickly though, unfortunately. both...

It was decent / the fried yucca wasn't what I was used to so personal preference. I'm gonna give another chance next week when I'm working up in the Portland area. Very clean and cool cashier.
