Glade began as a brick layer in the early years doing brick and block work. The business grew steadily and at one time had a crew as large as eighteen. During that time they worked in Molalla, Canby, and the Portland Metropolitan area. At the age of 18 Andy came into the business working with his father, and later taking over most of the business operation. Glade stepped out in 2000 and Andy assumed the roll of company president. Molalla Masonry currently does one-half million in revenue annually, and employs between 5 and 12 employees (depending on the season). Molalla Masonry primarily does business in Clackamas and Multnomah counties but they also work outside the area (even as far away as Montana). Molalla Masonry does work on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Molalla Masonry specializes in brick, block, and natural or synthetic rock and stone.
