Fremont Sawmill

Fremont Sawmill features 78,000 acres of Collins Lakeview Forest in southern Oregon and northeastern California. Manufacturing at Fremont Sawmill began in 1945 and the company is managed on an uneven-age, sustained yield basis. The sawmill features several species, such as Ponderosa pine, Lodgepole pine, white fir and incense cedar. Its facilities consist of sawmills, dry kilns and planers. Fremont Sawmill is located in Lakeview, Ore., and employs approximately 70 people.
