Scandinavian Heritage Foundation...is a non-profit organization focused on the five Nordic nations -- Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. SHF is the catalyst in the Northwest for preserving authentic traditions and culture while celebrating modern Scandinavian life, culture and business. It is the "go to" regional resource for all things Scandinavian. SHF will celebrate its members at the Annual Membership Celebration and Meeting, Sunday, September 12, 2 pm to 5 pm, at Fogelbo. You have to be a member to join us at this celebration and barbecue, free to our members. Reservations required. Scandinavian Heritage Foundation is stepping out on the town again with its program for people interested in Nordic-flavored businesses. Nordic Business After Hours is an informal gathering and open house at businesses around Portland that have a Nordic connection. It's one more chance to network with people interested in Nordic businesses. All promote a Nordic spirit. All you have to do is stop in after work. The October 28, Nordic Business After Hours is at Nielsen's Jewelers at their Lloyd Tower.
