Jefferson High School, a part of Jefferson School District 14J, enrolls students in grades 9 through 12. The school conducts classes in English, math, science, social studies, computer applications, consumer science, language and fine arts, and health and physical education. It also organizes a variety of athletic activities that includes baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, softball, swimming, wrestling, soccer, cross-country, and track and field. In addition, Jefferson High School conducts various cocurricular events, including field trips, fundraising programs, musical shows and dramatic plays. Located in Jefferson, Ore., the school offers counseling and guidance services. It supports the National Honor Society and equestrian and Spanish clubs, as well as maintains a library that stocks several books, periodicals and leisure reading materials.
